    Raw minoxidil is a vasodilator drug known for its ability to slow or stop hair loss and promote hair regrowth. It is available over the counter for androgenetic alopecia as well as other hair loss treatments, but the measurable changes disappear within a few months of stopping treatment. Its effectiveness has mainly been demonstrated in young men (18 to 41 years old), the younger the better, and those with baldness in the central (apex) part of the scalp.

Raw minoxidil was the first drug approved for the treatment of androgenetic alopecia (hair loss). Previously, minoxidil had been used as a vasodilator in oral tablets to treat high blood pressure, with side effects including hair growth and reversal of male pattern baldness.

Function

 

1. Raw Minoxidil needs to be used once or twice a day to maintain the hair.

2. For best results, the monooxidil solution should be in contact with the scalp for several hours before rinsing off. It does not appear to reduce DHT or the enzyme 5-aliha reductase that causes it to build up around hair follicles, the main cause of male pattern baldness in genetically susceptible individuals. Therefore, when treatment is stopped, the DHT that has accumulated around the follicle plays its intended role, and the follicle usually shrinks again and eventually dies.

3. Raw Minoxidil can promote hair regeneration, slow or stop hair loss, and treat high blood pressure.
