Product Description

Copper gluconate (chemical formula: C₁₂ H₂₂ CuO₁₄ ) is a chelate of copper and gluconic acid. It is a light blue to blue-green crystalline powder, easily soluble in water (solubility about 5g/100mL, 20ºC), and has a neutral pH (5.0-7.0). Its core properties include:
• Copper content: usually 11-13% (on anhydrous basis), providing bioavailable divalent copper (Cu²⁺).
• Stability: Stable under dry and dark conditions, but may decompose in the presence of strong oxidants or acidic environments (e.g., releasing free copper ions when pH < 3).
