The main plant sources of Pueraria lobata are dried roots of leguminous plants Pueraria lobata, Pueraria lobata and pueraria lobata.It comes from the dry roots of Pueraria lobata. It is a perennial deciduous vine, 10 m long, covered with yellowish brown coarse hairs. The root tuber is columnar, thick, with grayish yellow outer skin, silty inner part and strong fiber. It grows on the hillside grass, roadside and the shady and wet places in the sparse forest.
The main active components were daidzein, daidzin, puerarin and puerarin-7-xyloside.
