Plant source: Mainly extracted from the fruits (Cola fruits) of the plants Cola acuminata and Cola nitida of the Rubiaceae family. Among them, C. nitida is widely used due to its large fruit and high economic value.
Core ingredients:
Caffeine (1.5%-3.8%) : The content varies by variety and processing method (fresh fruit, sun-dried, ground and stored).
theobromine, flavonoids, tannins and anthocyanins have antioxidant and anti-inflammatory effects.
