Saw palmetto extract is a botanical medicine extracted from the mature and dried fruits of saw palmetto. The main active ingredient is fatty acid. Saw palmetto contains digestible carbohydrates, fats and other nutrients, of which 2/3 of the fats are free fatty acids, including capric acid, caprylic acid, caproic acid, lauric acid, palmitic acid and oleic acid. These substances are edible and medicinal.
At present, studies have shown that saw palmetto extract has an anti-tumor effect and is a natural prostatic hypertrophy treatment agent with remarkable curative effect.
