Camu is a native fruit of the Peruvian Amazon. It is mainly produced in flood-prone areas; it grows on trees that can reach a height of 5 milliseconds. It produces round, spherical fruits, similar to cherries about 3 cm in diameter. , Weighs about 20 grams. The ripe pulp is edible and has a lovely sour taste, similar to cherries or lemons. Its biggest feature is its high ascorbic acid content. Camu camu contains more vitamin C than any other fruit on the planet: between 1,800 and 2,780 mg. Every 100 grams of Camu pulp. Compared with oranges, Camu Camu provides 30 times more vitamin C, 10 times more iron, 3 times more niacin, twice more riboflavin and 50% phosphorus.
