Aloe-emodin is a natural anthraquinone compound, mainly derived from plants such as aloe, rhubarb and cassia seed. It exerts anti-inflammatory, anti-tumor and antibacterial activities by regulating cell signaling pathways (such as MAPK and NF-κB), and is widely used in the fields of medicine, skin care products and functional foods.
